Eivwa “ Ivwananji Mathew Simukonda” is a Zambian music artist, producer, and songwriter who creates thought-provoking art.

 

Born in Chisamba, Zambia on October 24th, 1995, Eivwa is the son of Mwanagala and Isaac Simukonda, a former Zesco Lusaka branch manager. His father is a native of Copperbelt province and his mother is a Lozi from the western province.

 

Eivwa's interest in performing began after he finished his high school education at Kafue boys secondary school in 2014. For years spent learning how to produce music on his own through watching videos on youtube from famous online producers like busy works beats and Mr different, he gained an appreciation and understanding for music that would later influence the sound he would create in his music we hear today.

He single-handedly produced his first mix tape “HEARTBREAKS” in 2016 over a laptop mic and some headphones in the bedroom. Jumpyo’s Rap and singing style has been inspired by Kanye West, Drake, Slap Dee, and Chef 187. Later in 2017 dropped 3 mixtapes namely” RIGHT HERE, FEEL and SAVE ME” in a single year. Eivwa collaborated with a friend and Hip-Hop Rapper IROSE on “FEEL” the mix tape.

Eivwa is not only a music artist and also a business entrepreneur and author of the “HOW TO MARKET YOUR MUSIC ON FACEBOOK.” Eivwa started and built his music career on nothing but a laptop and is one of the best upcoming artists in the Zambian music industry, his story has inspired many of the youth in his country now that it is possible to achieve your dream even on the listed equipment or being from a third world country.
